OUR STORY
Welcome to the Ragno family. It all started in Valsesia in 1879, in a small textile workshop which manufactured underwear.
A small company, yes. But one which already had big values: dedication, respect, passion, and a love for doing things right.
By 1970, that textile workshop had grown into one of Italy’s leading underwear knitwear companies.
From then on, we have never stopped: our pursuit of quality has always been, and still is, our driving force.
As the world changed, we changed too—but without ever losing sight of what truly mattered.
From underwear and pyjamas, we evolved into a benchmark for clothing, thanks to our Natural Comfort and a piece of clothing that rewrote the rules: Ragno Pants.
A small but significant leap forward that carried us into the future while, at the same time, remaining true to our origins.

Over the past twenty years, we’ve transformed a historic underwear brand into the Ragno brand we all know today, bringing comfort into everyday clothing. And we’ve been able to do so thanks to our manufacturing know-how and a simple belief: that evolving doesn’t mean changing who you are but letting your identity breathe more freely.

Our home is Valsesia, one of Italy’s greenest valleys, at the foot of Monte Rosa.
A place where nature, sport and tradition have always gone hand in hand—and continue to inspire every collection we create.
This location is not just our background; it is part of our identity.
And from this was born our choice to work with natural and sustainable materials—cotton, viscose, wool—as well as our decision to avoid harmful chemical agents altogether.
Our search for the finest natural yarns goes hand in hand with the evolution of style and of the people who wear our garments. We study different body shapes, we observe changing trends but keep one simple ambition at the heart of everything we do: to help those who choose Ragno feel good, not just today, but tomorrow, too.
